THE BRIDESMAIDS HAIRSTYLES - Bridesmaids come a variety of shapes and sizes, they also come with a variety of hair styles.
You thought the biggest dilemma you would be facing is how to coordinate the bridesmaid's outfits. But things are further complicated by your best friend who has arrived at your door having just dyed her hair navy blue.
Is she a good friend? She should be, after all you asked her to be a bridesmaid and all that goes with it. Forget about the offending hair color, and worry about something more important. Don't despair, if the wedding is months away there is still time to correct any problems with color, IF your designated bridesmaid is open to changing it. If not - oh well, so one bridesmaid has navy hair.

Suggestions on coordinating the Bridesmaids hairstyles....
The bridesmaids will probably have a variety of long and short hair. If the girls with the long hair have decided on wearing their hair up, then the girls with the short hair can achieve a similar look by sweeping the hair back off the face using hairpins to keep it back, then fluff up the back and you are good to go.
Choosing bridesmaid's hairstyles for the girls should be decided between the Bride and all the 'maids. But - it is much easier to decide on the hair accessories and then allow each bridesmaids to choose a hairstyle she is comfortable wearing.
The junior bridesmaid's hairstyles should be fashioned after the bridesmaids, but with a less grown up look. If she has short hair, colored, rhinestone pins look great, long hair worn down can easily be dresses up with the addition of embellished combs.
Who should pay for the bridesmaid's hairstyles?
There are no hard and fast rules as to who should pay for the bridesmaids hairdos. If the Bride is asking the bridesmaids to wear their hair in a specific style, or use her favorite salon then it should be the Bride who pays. But if everyone is willing to use the same salon, with no hard feelings why not split the bill fairly.
Choose hair accessories based on the color of the bridesmaid dresses and jewelry pieces. Pearls and rhinestones are both neutral in color and compliment all the colors in the rainbow. Alternately, the bridesmaids hair accessories can be gem stone - real or synthetic or simply gold or silver.
Some bridesmaids prefer to wear a small tiara mimicking one being worn by the Bride. Tiaras look great on all lengths of hair, long, short - even blue hair.
