Secret Spices
Choose 10 jars of different spices. Wrap the labels with paper and number them 1 to 10. Each guest tries to guess what's in the jar. Allow them to shake, sniff, but not touch each spice, the one who gets the most right win a small prize, the Bride gets the spices for her new kitchen!
Chatty Bride
As the bride is opening her gifts, have someone record what she is saying, once the gift opening is over, read the comments back, you will be surprised how they sound taken out of context.
Memorable Bride
Have the bride leave the room, pass out paper and pen and ask each guest to record what the bride was wearing, color of her shoes, nail polish on, hair up or down, earrings. Create your own questions, include her maiden name, favorite food any thing you can think of. The person with the most correct answers wins!
Two Truths & A Lie
Each guest comes to the party with 3 statements about the Bride, 2 that are the truth and 1 that is the lie. Try to think of creative facts that many may not know. At the shower each guest reveals her three facts, keeping a straight face, and everyone tries to guess which one is the lie. If you can fool the majority, choose a prize.
