BRIDESMAID’S DRESSES for 2010

The beginning of a new year brings the bridal fairs, and they are in full swing. With all the excitement comes the latest styles for bridesmaid’s dresses!

This year, the designers of bridesmaid’s dresses are showing long, short and in between.

Tea length seems to be the overall favorite and what a plus for the bridesmaids. The tea length dress is the most practical of all the dress lengths allowing the girls to wear them again and again. They are a charming change from the long gowns we have been seeing and are easily accessorized with sexy , strappy shoes, wrist length gloves and shoulder warming shrugs.

This years bridesmaids dress designs continue to mimic the bridal gowns, with most dresses offering details at the waist and shoulder baring necklines. Look for halter necklines that will be predominate. Strapless gowns are also a popular choice.

Fabrics are soft, flowing and very feminine. Ruching is back in style, offering an added detail on the bodice and waistline. Fabrics are layered with chiffon over-lays creating a fluid look to the dresses.

Looks like purple is the leader this year! Watch for teal as the next color choice for the bridesmaids dresses in 2010.

Many brides are continuing to choose the color scheme of chocolate and pink or teal or chocolate and lime green this year and many bridesmaids dresses are offered in theses colors.

For a real wow factor choose ORANGE. This vibrant exciting color is the hot new fashion color this year. Orange bridesmaids dresses are featured by almost all designers for a real fashion statement.

Chocolate continues to WOW, everything from latte to expresso, from milk to dark chocolate, accessories add the right sparkle – brown is no longer dull! Pared with lime green, the brown dess is no longer boring.

Green is back – no – not seafoam green, greens that add pow to any color combination, from citrus lime greens to apple green that sparkle and all the way to deep rich deep forest.
